Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order    12 January, 2016

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order, which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in the entire lengths of (1) Deadhearn Lane, Chalfont St. Giles and (2) Twitchells Lane/Jordans Lane, Jordans.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closures will be via (1) Nightingales Lane, Gorelands Lane and vice versa and (2) Newbarn Lane, Chalfont Road, School Lane, Bayne Hill and Longbottom Lane and vice versa.

The closure is required whilst flailing and vegetation clearance works take place and it is anticipated that the works will take place on 4 February 2016 between 0830 hours and 1600 hours to complete.

The Order will come into operation on 4 February 2016 when the appropriate signs are lawfully displayed and will continue for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the said works have been completed whichever is the earlier.

Penalties for not observing these restrictions will be as prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.
